1. Clinical Trial Registration: All clinical trials must be registered in a public database prior to publication, such as ClinicalTrials.gov or the Brazilian Clinical Trials Registry.
2. Transparency of Results: It is recommended that authors report both positive and negative results to avoid publication bias.
3. International Regulations: Clinical trials must comply with the Declaration of Helsinki and national regulations on human research.

All clinical trials submitted to The Journal of Latin American Pediatric Dentistry must comply with ethical regulations and current international standards. It is mandatory that the trials are registered in the corresponding institution and in one of the recognized international registries, such as ClinicalTrials.gov or WHO ICTRP.
