About the Journal

The Latin American Journal of Pediatric Dentistry (Revista de Odontopediatría Latinoamericana) is the official publication of the Latin American Association of Pediatric Dentistry (Asociación Latinoamericana de Odontopediatría ALOP ). It is developed for dental professionals and students, as well as for other health workers who are interested in the care of children and adolescents. It is published continuously in open access, to disseminate research and knowledge in pediatric dentistry and related areas. The Editorial Board follows the recommendations of the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE), the World Association of Medical Editors (WAME), and the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) in terms of possible conflicts of interest, evaluation of research designs, peer review process, editorial decision-making, plagiarism, and allegations of possible misconduct.
